The New Species of Architecture essay describes the similarities between living organisms and technology within structural buildings. It relates species such as organisms and DNA to computer coding and architecture, and believes someday they will be the same. The concept of this poster was to build a structure using the body copy from the essay. The structure represents architecture such as buildings. Eventually the type becomes deconstructed and the structure begins to fall apart. The destruction expresses the idea that technology is becoming so powerful and that living organisms such as us depend on it too often.
